Key Responsibilities & Focus Areas
As a Purchasing Officer at FPTech, you will manage end-to-end procurement processes to ensure seamless supply chain performance and cost efficiency. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing & Negotiation: Identifying qualified vendors, negotiating favorable pricing and commercial terms, and issuing complete purchase orders for industrial goods.
- Technical Specification Review: Reading and interpreting technical specs for raw materials, machinery spare parts, and specialized industrial equipment to ensure exact vendor compliance.
- Logistics & Customs Management: Overseeing import workflows, utilizing correct Incoterms, and handling Saudi Arabian customs clearance to ensure timely delivery.
- Quality & System Management: Maintaining procurement records within ERP platforms and ensuring all purchasing workflows align with ISO 9001 and API Q1 standard guidelines.
Qualification Requirements
Candidates should possess a solid background in supply chain management within heavy industry, pipe manufacturing, or oil & gas:
