 📢 We Are Hiring: Mechanical Design & Estimation Engineer

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Mechanical Design & Estimation Engineer to join our MEP team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and client requirements.

• Prepare mechanical designs and calculations for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.

• Perform cooling-load calculations, equipment selection, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and hydraulic calculations.

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, BOQs, and tender proposals.

• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Prepare technical and commercial comparisons and recommend compliant solutions.

• Identify scope gaps, discrepancies, value-engineering opportunities, and tender risks.

• Coordinate mechanical requirements with electrical, architectural, structural, and interior-design disciplines.

• Prepare technical submittals, RFIs, compliance statements, and material schedules.

• Support procurement and project teams during the post-award and execution stages.

• Ensure designs and proposals comply with project specifications, Saudi Building Code, NFPA, ASHRAE, and applicable local authority requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and estimation, preferably within the MEP contracting or fit-out industry.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.

• Experience in commercial, hospitality, retail, and restaurant fit-out projects is preferred.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and relevant mechanical calculation and estimation software.

• Knowledge of Revit MEP, HAP, and BIM coordination will be an advantage.

• Strong understanding of material specifications, market rates, and supplier evaluation.

• Good analytical, communication, coordination, and time-management skills.

• Experience in Saudi Arabia and familiarity with local codes and approval requirements are preferred.
