Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with a Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics and a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and programming languages such as Python and R. This role focuses on leveraging data to support decision-making processes and drive market intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Integration: Provide insights and inputs for building system integration that enhances the policy decision-making process.

• Data Integration: Integrate various data sources into a comprehensive price analysis dashboard, facilitating real-time insights for stakeholders.

• Market Intelligence: Analyze data to deliver market intelligence, developing analytics frameworks and price scenario analyses specifically for pulses and vegetables.

• Price Forecasting: Assist the Team Leader in price forecasting initiatives, contributing to the development of strategies for price stabilization based on projected scenarios.

• Quality Monitoring: Monitor the quality of price information collected, implementing measures to enhance the reliability and accuracy of the data.

• Decision Support: Continuously monitor market prices and support the decision-making process by providing actionable insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.

• Minimum of 6 years of work experience in data analysis or a similar role.

• Proficient in machine learning and AI techniques, with strong programming skills in Python and R.

• Excellent analytical skills with a proven track record in market analysis and price forecasting.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with experience collaborating across departments.
