We are seeking a skilled Computer Vision Engineer with a strong background in artificial intelligence and machine learning. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and deploying computer vision systems to support state government initiatives and address public sector challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
AI Solution Development: Design and implement innovative AI solutions that align with state government objectives and policies.
Project Management: Manage computer vision projects from scoping and design through implementation and evaluation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
System Development: Develop and deploy computer vision models for image and video analysis, object detection, facial recognition, image segmentation, and more.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of deployed AI systems, making necessary adjustments to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and ethical compliance.
Issue Resolution: Analyze and address any operational challenges or issues arising from AI systems in use.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions.
Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of project progress, methodologies, and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
3-6 years of experience in AI, machine learning, data science, or software engineering.
Proven hands-on experience in developing and deploying computer vision systems.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages and libraries such as Python, OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
Experience with image and video analysis techniques, including object detection, facial recognition, and image segmentation.
Project Management:
Experience in managing computer vision projects, with a focus on scoping, designing, implementing, and evaluating outcomes.
