*Description*
We are looking for a young and experienced accountant professional with demonstrable experience in accounts payable processes and project financial management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective cost control across projects. 

*Responsibilities:*

*1)Account Payable*
▪️ Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, matching them with purchase orders and receiving documents. 
▪️ Verify and reconcile discrepancies in invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents. 
▪️ Prepare and perform weekly check runs and electronic payments. 
▪️ Manage vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. 
▪️ Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding issues. 
▪️ Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records and documentation. 
▪️ Assist in month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
▪️ Assist in the development and implementation of accounts payable policies and procedures. 
▪️ Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper coding and approval of invoices. 
▪️ Assist with special projects and process improvements as needed.

*2)Project Control*
▪️ Develop, implement, and maintain project control processes and procedures. 
▪️  Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and forecasts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. 
▪️ Track project costs, commitments, and variances against budgeted amounts. 
▪️ Analyse project financial data and provide regular reports to project managers and stakeholders. 
▪️ Identify and investigate cost overruns, delays, and other project issues. 
▪️ Collaborate with project managers to develop action plans to address budget and schedule variances.
▪️ Assist in the preparation of project budgets, estimates, and forecasts. 
▪️ Review and approve project-related invoices, change orders, and other financial documents. 
▪️ Participate in project meetings and provide financial insights and recommendations. 
▪️ Support project audits and reviews by providing accurate and timely financial data and documentation.

*Requirements:*
▪️ Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, engineering, or related field preferred. 
▪️ 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, project controls, or related finance role. 
▪️ Proficiency in accounting software, project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. 
▪️ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
▪️ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. 
▪️ Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. 
▪️ Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
▪️ Knowledge of accounting principles, project management principles, and practices. 
▪️ Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Deltek Costpoint, Procore) preferred. 
▪️ Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. 
▪️ Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
